Stun Guns and Taser Guns are not considered firearms. They can be legally carried (concealed or open) in most states. Stun products are prohibited for citizen use in seven states including HI, MA, NJ, NY, RI, WI & MI (legal for bail agent, private investigator, or properly trained aircraft pilot or crew in MI). Illinois requires a FOID card.

Below are pepper spray laws and restrictions that we are aware of. You should check locally if you believe pepper sprays may be restricted in your area.

New York: New York residents may only purchase defense sprays from licensed Firearms Dealers or licensed Pharmacists in that state.
Massachusetts: Massachusetts residents may only purchase defense sprays from licensed Firearms Dealers in that state.
States Where Pepper Sprays Have Some Restrictions
Michigan: OC Pepper spray can be no stronger then a 2% concentrate (Different companies can sell different concentrations.) CS is the only Tear Gas accepted and can be no larger then 35 grams per can. No combination spray allowed.
Wisconsin: Tear gas is not permissible. By regulation, OC products with a maximum OC concentration of 10% and weight range of oleoresin of capsicum and inert ingredients of 15-60 grams are authorized. This is 1/2 oz. and 2 oz. spray. Further, the product cannot be camouflaged, and must have a safety feature designed to prevent accidental discharge. The units may not have an effective range of over 20 feet and must have an effective range of six feet. In addition there are certain labeling and packaging requirements: must state cannot sell to anyone under 18 and the phone number of the manufacturer has to be on the label. The units must also be sold in sealed tamper-proof packages.
NOTE: Pepper Spray is legal in all 50 states, however a number of cities and states have restrictions on sizes, strengths, etc.. If you have a question, it is wise to check with you local city or state attorneys office. Defense sprays should only be purchased by those 18 years of age or older. There are State and Local restrictions in a few jurisdictions prohibiting the possession or use of stun guns and several other items shown on our web site. USSALEZ, LLC WILL NOT sell any products in violation thereof. It is the responsibility of you the buyer, not USSALEZ, LLC to understand your local, state, and federal laws before placing an order.
If you are unsure of your states laws pertaining to any products you want to order, you should consult local, state, or federal authorities to be certain you are not breaking any laws. It is your decision whether to be in civil disobedience of your local laws. The politicians who make these laws are themselves protected by armed state troopers. We consider self-preservation a basic human right.
All the weapons and products sold on our on line store are either novelty items or are for defensive and training purposes only. We under no circumstances will sell to minors, or to anyone we feel may use our products for illegal purposes. We reserve the right to decline any order. By placing an order, the buyer represents that he/she is of legal age and that products will be used only in a legal manner. By placing an order for locksmithing tools, the buyer asserts to be, without fraud or deception, a bonafied member of the locksmithing industry, or other qualified personnel.
Having no control over the use of any product once in the buyer's possession, we assume no liability associated with their use. Under no circumstance is USSALEZ, LLC. liable for any loss, cost or damage, of any kind arising out of the use or inability to use, these products, or the suitability of use for any particular task. This responsibility is totally on the buyer. Owning and or carrying self defense weapons is a large responsibility. If you are not sure whether you can handle it, please don't buy our products until you get the proper training.
In the event of a dispute between the Buyer and USSALEZ, LLC which cannot be resolved by negotiation, and in the event the Buyer undertakes to sue USSALEZ, LLC in a court of law, then it is hereby stipulated that venue for any such action shall be only in Greenville County, State of South Carolina.
